Comedians...
Andy Greaves Andy Greaves
Andy Greaves is, without doubt, one of the most talented entertainers in the country, with an act that includes ventriloquism, stand-up comedy and vocals. Along with his feathered friend Lewis, the pair entertain children and adults all over the country. Don’t dismiss this comedian and ventriloquist as just an act for kids…he’ll grab everyone’s attention and keep it throughout his act.

The Funny Guys Show The Funny Guys Show
Take three comedy double acts and add a vertically challenged stooge. Rehearse and simmer the whole concoction for a while and the result is this terrific new variety show.
It’s Bobby Ball’s brainchild and it’s clear that he and his comedy partner of 41 years Tommy Cannon are both very much in the driving seat.
Harper are two boys, Rob and Darren, who are learning from their dad in this production. When dad happens to be Bobby Ball your show business education must be pretty much guaranteed. They play the manic card while delivering a load of sketches including a very funny Riverdance routine.
Barricade present music and comedy with tongues planted firmly in cheeks. Similar to Harper in style and substance, Craig and Jonathan from Barricade like to get all ‘touchy-feely’ with the front few rows and have a genuine relationship to offer.
Cannon and Ball are just as much of a powerful comedy presence today as ever they were. Cannon is still the most accomplished straight man in the business and in Bobby is still one of the great British clowns. Surely the biggest thing to come to Pencnwc, or even New Quay in a long LONG time??

Colin Price
Colin is the KING of Welsh comedy! Born in Neath Colin has been a regular on TV for more than twenty years! Colin discovered his flare for comedy many moons ago and his been entertaining Wales and a lot of the UK for a great many years.

Andy Greaves Adam Daye
Adam is a seasoned comedian and impressionist who has appeared many times on TV & Radio. He has worked alongside Ken Dodd, Frankie Howard, Bob Monkhouse and Victoria Wood. As well as in the TV series Who Do You Do? Adam does all your favourite impressions like no other and will having you chuckling back to your caravan at the end of the night!

Lee Roy James
If you could use the term "Serving your time" in show business, it would aptly apply to Lee Roy. He started at the age of 13, playing in a group in his native Ireland. At the age of' 20 he turned professional with The Irish show bands. After a few years the desire to be a solo performer dominated him so he came to Britain, and, within a short time was established as a singer of note. He was always in demand supporting many top names in the clubs. After a few summer seasons on mainland England Lee Roy went to the Isle of Man to do a summer season and ended up doing 9 continuous summer seasons. At his peak performing an amazing 27 shows a week! At this time his natural laid back humour began to evolve and he found he could easily make people laugh. He would have an audience in the palm of his hand with his stories, wit, & beautiful singing voice. People would come back to the Costa del Sol every year - just so Lee Roy could be part of their holiday. It was in Spain that someone thought up the slogan "The Natter" & The Patter". Lee Roy is such an easy going fellow a well known promoter was once heard to say "he is so laid back he should be propped up". It takes a lot of professionalism to be able to earn an accolade like that.

Tim Pope Tim Pope
Tim is one of the very few REAL gag man working today. All you get from Tim is jokes. No songs to pad out his act; no time wasting. It’s just jokes from beginning to end. That doesn’t mean we have quantity without quality though. Tim is very funny and he’s as topical as the News! Try not to laugh TOO much though or you’ll miss the next joke!

TV Puppets
This show is a fast-paced variety-style show with a selection of colourful puppets delivering lots of songs, comedy segments and audience participation. It features the popular puppetry of Philip Fletcher and Carl Chadd's The Gluvets, and is compered by the wise-cracking rodent scientist Lab Rat and his able-bodied assistant Nuke Vermin, the radioactive mouse. Puppet characters featured on the bill include Muriel, a well-to-do Flamingo with an ego the size of a small town, and her hen-pecked husband, Malcolm. Sounds TOTALLY bonkers to me…can’t wait!

Gary T Davies
I’ve no idea when I last saw Gary but it seems he’s been around for ages! He’s a big fella and although he may weigh 25 stone, he is remarkably agile! He has a repertoire for all ages, which accounts for his popularity and the amount of times I’ve seen him working in holiday parks over the years. Masks, glasses and a range of wigs are all used. To move smoothly from Ali G to Bob the Builder is a pretty crazy thing to try to do but Gary pulls it off perfectly.

Roberts' & Ashcroft Roberts' & Ashcroft
I know what you’re thinking…..Roberts and Ashcroft sounds like a firm of plumbers from Preston! Well, you’d be wrong. Instead we get two well-presented ladies who gave us song, dance, comedy and instrumental work, with the aid of quick changes, in a packed and crazy set. These girls are something different…come check them out!

Dandinis Celebrity Puppets
Polished UV puppet show Dandini Celebrity Puppets give a performance full of up to date material and plenty of laughs. They present enough to fire the imaginations of the younger kids but have plenty for the mums and dads too. The work in Ultraviolet light (they glow in the dark!!) but, unlike Corlettes Characters they take the mickey out of famous people. Another great show for the whole family!

Glenfiddich Glenfiddich
I’ve known Glen for YEARS and have booked him in as many venues as I can because I know audiences will love him. Glen’s changed huge chunks of his act for next year but don’t worry; it’s all been tried and tested in front of clubs in England & Wales. He sings, he tells jokes AND he does crazy magic! Glen will leave you smiling and thoroughly entertained…and a bit confused!

Harper Bros The Harper Bros
Rob & Darren are two brothers who are building one hell of a reputation in the world of showbusiness. The lads have always been involved in entertainment. They virtually grew up in theatres and were fed comedy & music from a very tender age. They’re father is Bobby Ball out of Cannon & Ball so it was inevitable that the lads would soon be treading the boards.
Being brothers, Harper show a natural bond together on stage that is irresistible. With they’re powerful voices and they’re lovable sense of humour you can’t help but be bowled over by these two entertainers. As soon as they hit the stage you’ll be spellbound by the amount of energy they put into their show. There aren’t that many double acts around who deliver such a knock out show as these two boys.

January Rees
January's astonishing rise to success began in 1995 when as a single mum she was persuaded by friends to enter a television quiz show. Round after round passed and January stayed in the frame, eventually winning the £5000 prize. January recently celebrated ten years in show-business with a party in Merthyr Tydfil’s top night club with a dozen singers, comedians and dances, plus an audience of 1200 paying tribute to a decade of fun and entertainment. January’s television work has continued with a new six-part ITV Wales series being made for transmission in early 2006 titled ‘ January All Year’ on ITV 1 & 2.

Glenfiddich Owen Money
Owen was born in Merthyr Tydfil and grew up in the South Wales valleys. He started his career in show business as a bass guitarist and lead singer with the pop group The Bystanders who had hits in the 60s on the Pye label. In the 70s his flair for comedy was spotted, and he formed the comedy band Tomfoolery which became one of the UK's most successful comedy show bands, often topping the bill all over the country. In 1980 he launched his solo career, soon winning the Club Land Comedian of the Year award, performing alongside Shirley Bassey and Tom Jones. He’s cheeky, he’s funny and he’s Welsh. What more do you need to know??

Schooner
These lads have numerous credits to their account including network TV appearances for Central on 'New Faces' and Yorkshire on '3-2-1'.
Also they have had the honour of being voted by Club Mirror 'Comedy Act of the Year'. Schooner comprises of the very funny Terry Devine, ably assisted by his younger brother Kevin as supporting comedian /anchorman and keyboard player. Multi talented Guitarist Robbie Cotetto contributes to the comedy as anchorman and provides the music with Kevin to complete this winning team.
Terry's training ground was the renowned 'Hilda Fallon Roadshow' from which such artists as Ken Dodd, Freddie Stan & Keith Chegwin, all emerged. At the age of thirteen he performed his impressions on TV with Freddie Starr in 'Who Do You Do'. Two years later he appeared on screen for seven weeks in 'Junior Showtime'.
Schooner originated almost 20 years ago and the act continues to go from strength to strength. They have travelled far and wide and in particular are firm favourites with the Armed Forces.

Chubby Spencer Chubby Spencer
Ollie Spencer has a wealth of experience gathered over the past 20 years, having appeared successfully on such programmes as New faces, Tizwaz, The Comedians, Seaside Special etc.
He has regularly performed in cabaret at top cabaret, Social and Holiday camps, and made a name as a leading after dinner speaker/comedian in the world of corporate entertainment.
Ollie has now generated from this background into a tribute to his favourite comedian Roy ‘Chubby’ Brown, and the result is a show that is dynamic, slightly outrageous, but at all time extremely funny.
